Baptism (Children and Adults)

Children usually are baptized soon after birth. Please call the Parish office to begin preparations for this Sacrament. Adults are usually initiated into the life of the Church after a period of preparation and instruction. This process begins with a conversation with the Parish Priest. Communion

First Communion

First Communion/First Reconciliation Meeting for Parents: Saturday, November 29th starting with Saturday evening Mass at 5:15 pm.

Holy Communion for the Sick and Shut-ins

Holy Communion is taken regularly to those who are sick and shut-in. Contact the Parish office if this service is needed. In case of immediate emergency, call the Parish at 613-389-2009. If no one is in, leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible.


Confession / Sacrament of Reconciliation

Confessions are heard in the Church on the First Saturday of the month from 9:00 - 9:25 am and each Saturday from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm and at any time by appointment. Special parish penance celebrations are held during the Advent and Lenten seasons.


Confirmation

Confirmation Meeting for Parents: Saturday, December 6th starting with 5:15 pm Mass.


Funerals

Please contact the Parish office (613-389-2009) to arrange a funeral.

Funeral Luncheons

The Catholic Women's League may be able to provide, on request, a funeral luncheon at a cost of $15.00 per person. Contact the parish office at 613-389-2009. There is no charge for a funeral luncheon if the deceased is a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Women's League.


Matrimony

Please call the Parish Office (613-389-2009) to begin making arrangements at least six months prior to your anticipated marriage date. It would be helpful if you would prepare your personal documentation ahead of time (e.g., Baptismal certificates, personal identification, other significant documents).


RCIA – Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

Becoming a Catholic involves an ongoing process of preparation. If you would like more information, please call 613-389-2009.
